ABOUT THE ARTIST/DESIGNER:
I have been involved in the art world for most of my life, & in the
graphic design field almost that long. For over 15 years I have had
the good fortune to do both of these things – in the Boston area –
with an eclectic mix of clientele. My jobs have included working both
freelance and on staff with individuals as well as corporations. I
have a passion for art and graphic design, and I enjoy the process of
collaborating with people, developing media projects. Some of these
projects include: flyers, posters, logos, newsletters, brochures,
book and CD covers. A few of my more unique, large, site-specific
jobs have been: painting the windows (á la stained glass) of the
library at Goddard College in Plainfield, VT, and designing &
painting murals for the whale watch boat of the New England Aquarium.
Seeing abstract ideas become concrete through client-designer input
is an incredibly rewarding process.
I welcome new jobs and clients, whether large or small. I have a BA
in Fine Art from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and an MFA
degree in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston,
MA. I am available for consultation regarding inquiries about
projects. You may contact me through this website. |
