ABOUT THE ARTIST/DESIGNER:

I have worked in the Graphic Design field for over 15 years with an eclectic mix of clientele. These experiences include working freelance and on staff with individuals as well as corporations. I have a passion for fine art and graphic design and I enjoy the process of collaborating with people on developing media projects. The more I can mix the two disciplines that I am trained in, the better!  Two ongoing clients are a Paris-culinary tours travel company (Your Great Days in Paris) and maaps, Massachusetts Association of 766 Approved Private Schools (special education schools). I welcome new jobs and clients, whether large or small. I produce many varied products such as flyers, posters, logos, brochures, book and CD covers and more.

I have a BA in Fine Art from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and an MFA degree in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.

What’s New with the Art:

For many years I have exhibited work at venues throughout the Boston area, but some new ventures are:

• Open Studios, West Medford, May 10-11, 2008. check out the website at: http://www.wmos.org/

• Paintings (watercolors/colored ink) of people’s homes on a commission basis. 

• Watercolor prints of popular, local scenes of Somerville at the Blue Cloud Gallery (in Somerville).  My handmade cards have retailed there since 200l. I also have prints in the 13Forest Gallery at their new location in East Arlington. 

• The Bibelot Shops in Minneapolis, MN are a recent addition to shops selling my cards.
